George is better than Josie

Although as a puppy, I can be a bit “bitey”, overall I’m clearly a better dog than this Josie character. I really like her, but she inexplicably barks at daddy ALL THE TIME, and I don’t really know why. Take a look at these bagels he made recently… And how about this burger! I really would have liked to have eaten that burger, but it was for one of the kids. This is not the work of someone that deserves to be viciously barked at for years on end.

Despite these strengths, Josie still mauls daddy daily, going on three years… Now, I’m no border collie or even pure standard poodle, but this behavior seems outrageous! Bark, bark! Mom says that Josie is ‘getting so much better’, but it’s hard to see; I’m only about as bright as I look though, so who knows. I think Dad just loves Mom, so he tolerates ‘this nonsense’. Honestly, I do hear daddy encouraging Josie quietly to do things that don’t seem healthy or might even threaten her survival, like with cars and chocolate and stuff like that, but I stay out of it, and concentrate on my toys (particularly the ones that squeak when I bite them). Woof.

As I’m part poodle, I also have a significant cognitive edge over our resident dingo (whom I love, despite her obvious flaws). To prove my superior intelligence, I can solve the following crossword puzzle in 23 minutes. Let’s see Josie top that! Dad says that I cost a “fortune” and was delivered by plane for Christmas where Josie was going to be killed by someone in the neighborhood because of how bad she was. Mommy had to save her or else she was a ‘goner’, so even from a value standpoint, I’m much better. It’s close, but I believe I’m also more observant than Josie which arguably keeps everyone safe! Can you see me?

Please watch this recent video of Josie and I, almost playing in the living room. Notice how playful I am, and ready to throw down. There is no comparison to Josie and I as far as general affability, playfulness and just overall “good dog”. As far as I can tell, I’m also better with the cat although admittedly I’m afraid of the cat but also inclined to bite it a little bit, just to keep it in line. I can’t explain it. Anyway, my name is George and I’m better than Josie.
